Terms and Conditions – North Herefordshire Home Help

Effective Date: 9.5.25

Free Initial Assessment and Agreement

Before any care or support services begin, a free in-home assessment and risk assessment will be carried out. This ensures we understand your needs, preferences, and environment, and allows us to provide safe, person-centred care.

Following the assessment, a formal agreement will be created, outlining:

  • The agreed days, times, and duration of support

  • The hourly rate for services

  • Any specific requirements or preferences

Both parties will sign the agreement prior to the commencement of care.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel a scheduled visit:

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full.

  • In exceptional circumstances (such as emergency hospital admission), charges may be waived at our discretion.

Bank Holidays

Support provided on UK Bank Holidays will be charged at double the standard hourly rate.

Continuity of Care

Every effort will be made to ensure consistency and reliability. In the event of annual leave, planned time off, or unforeseen sickness, suitable cover will be arranged to ensure your care is not disrupted.
